Dee, I'm not sure you are doing anything wrong. When I print up a report, I always get the earlier ancestors in brackets next to the primary individual. It doesn't appear that you have a choice of whomever you don't want to appear. I've been using FTM for abt 4 years. The only way I would know around it, would be to use an Ancestor ordered report.
