Hi Myrt -- I too am interested in the Sommerville connection. I am descended from James and Elizabeth Lynch Sommerville through their daughter Margaret who married William Burnside. Do you have any information on the parents of Elizabeth Lynch? Also, I am trying to determine exactly where in County Donegal, Ireland the Sommervilles and Burnsides lived. I am making the assumption that since they travelled together, they were probably from the same area. I believe the ship's name was "Dolores", but I haven't been able to find any info on that either.
