Dear list members, Cathy has added some new cemetery transcriptions to the Harrison County webpage--Lumberport IOOF (Eagle Dist); Sigley Cemetery; Adamsville Cemetery and part of Enterprise Cemetery. All the transcriptions were taken from LDS microfilmed records of readings done in 1930-1940. While the total Lumberport, Adamsville and Sigley Cemeteries are on the Harrison Co page, only part of the Enterprise Cemetery is there. There are over 700 graves and will take time to transcribe the entire thing. That listing will be added to over the next month or so. Some dates or complete names are missing; caused by either the original reader being unable to read the tombstones or because the microfilm was illegible. The advantage of the older readings is that the stones may have been more legible 50 or 60 years ago. I have tried to read those cemeteries which have not been published in book form by the Harrison Co Genealogical Society. Have fun and I hope you find a lot of good information in these. Mariana
