Was wondering if you had any surnames of Snell in your new book? I can't seem to get very far in my father's ancestry. Would appreciate anyone out there who could help or has any info on the Snell family. Thank you. Dottie

Proved by witnesses, Dec 1805 and Feb 1806. Del: to Lewis Smell [sic], 12 July 1838, rEcorded: OS 3:308 this is on page 231 of Monongalia County (West Virginis) Deedbook Records 1784-1810 (Old Series Volume 1-4) by Rick Toothman Published by Heritage Books Inc. Hope that helps a little I also have a Philip Smell lurking in connection with my family tree somewhere. I will be gone for a month but then if you have any interest in him I will look up what I have-It's not much but I think I do have who he married. Smell, Snell they might be the same family.
