Sometimes we need just a little more info to get us through a hump, and several of you have given me goldmines in my research. I was wonder if you might have any info on John J. Whetsel/Whetsell/Wetzel b. abt. 1818 m. Rebecca Mayse in Harrison county in 1842, in your upcoming book, Genealogical and Personal History of the Upper Monongahela Valley, West Virginia. I'm afraid I'm trying to connect John J with his parents.(not sure on siblings either) With so many John Whetsel/Wetzels, it's been difficult to determine from where he came.
