Can anyone at all help me? I'm a beginner in genealogy and trying to find my roots. I can't seem to get anywhere on my father's side. My father, Robert Lawrence Snell, was born July 25, 1918 in Nutter Fort, WV. He was one of six children b. to John Erland Snell, b. approx. 1884 in Fayette Co. WV, and d. approx. 1/1/1929, and Florence Gertrude Delo, b. approx 1896 and d. approx. 1931. They were married 1/19/1913 in Harrison Co. WV. Someone found a possible match for John Erland's parents - J. A. Snell, unknown birth or death date, m. Mary V. (?), also unknown birth and death. I'm trying to go back as far as I can on the Snell side. The only actual fact I have is my father's parents names and marriage date, and his place of birth. Can anyone help me find out any more info at all? I'm at a brick wall. Thank you very much.
