GRAY Accordinding to the data compiled by Gertrude E. GRAY the following was found. Vol. 111, pg. 80, "T-232: Henry Hardman 164 A. (18 Sep 1780) in Hampshire Co. on Stoney Run of Mill Cr. adj. William Pell. 6 Mar 1789" Vol. 111, 183 "W-597: T.W. 9020=16 Nov 1781 Robert Williams asne. of William Pell 100 A.(25 Oct 1792) in Hampshire Co. adj. Robert Allen, Thomas Buffington, Half Mile Run of Cabbin Run. 23 Sept 1795 This is all I found on PELL in all of the books. I know it doesn't seem like much but it does give a place to look for more and if you want complete copies of the documents which gives more detail that isn't in the book, they can be obtained by writing to the address the book gives with the following information: "Copies of the original grants may be secured from the Virginia State Library. Specify the nname of collection, name of grantee, volume and page number. Send a self addressed, stamped envelope for a price quote, limiting requests to two items per letter. Do notinclude money with orders. Write to: Virginia State Library, Capitol Square, Richmond, Virginia 23219-3491. The originals have more data not included in these excerpts from the original.
