Hello, I belong to several myFamily.com sites regarding ancestors of mine and I have found the benefits of this type of family group differ a great deal from subscribing to a list, putting names on boards in hopes that some relative might see it. All serve their purpose, but myFamily narrows it down to members of the family who have information and are willing to share their information in a family setting without it being possibly misconstrued over the lists while it is being rehashed into something verifiable. I realize that there is a lot of information regarding the Straley family and a lot of people are searching. There are new Straley researchers coming along all the time that are trying to document sources, make a connection with their relatives, compare notes, and will be carrying the genealogy forward to a new generation.
