Ok, I am home and I will start posting the data that I found, tonight. If when I am done, there is someone who does not have any answer, let me know as I got turned around a little bit staying in the motel. Glad to be home. Cathy D

Hi everyone, If anyone can help me find who these people belong to, I would be completely grateful. Job S. Gaskins b. Bet. 1817 - 1832 in VA d. Bet. 1870 - 1900 in WV Violet Jane McAllister b. 1836 in VA d. Bet. 1900 - 1936 in WV Married 08 April 1850 in Marion County, WV Job was found in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Census. But I am unable to find anything that states his parents names. I am assuming that the 1840 census would have it, but I really don't know how to obtain it. Hi Wanda, Patricia B Hickman wrote a book "Harrison County West Virginia Death Records 1853-1903" published by Heritage Books. It's not an old book but I don't believe it is still in print. However, some libraries have it and it might be possible to do an inter-library loan through your local library. Any library can do that and while there is normally a small fee (like $1) you get to keep the book for a month-- assuming they can get it. Dee, Ok, Heres a couple for now. I need death dates and information on John Rowe/Rowh/Row and his wife Lavina (Meeks) Rowe/Rowh/Row. I know they were both still alive at the time of the 1880 Census. But don't have anything after that on them. I also know Lavina was born abt. 1824. And that the two of them were married January 31, 1839. That's about all the information I have one the two of them. I guess if there is a 1900 Census for either of them I would like to have it to. Thank you! ----- Original Message ----- From: Dee Puffer <dpuffer@ddminc.net> To: <WVHARRIS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2000 2:01 PM Subject: Re: [WVHARRIS] query-sharing-Dodd.
