Hi, Does anybody have a Harriet E. Mcintire d/o John and Amelia McIntire. She md. Elmus E. Davis, February of 1890. They had at least four children. Elmus E. Davis Jr., who was possibly listed as MIA in WW1, Arthur Davis, Ottie Davis, and Birtchie (don't know about spelling) Davis. Also Elus could be Elmis. Kim, Are you working on this particular family? I had info in my files on Elizabeth Davis Babcock that I had forgotten abt. I guess I didn't know who Elizabeth's parents were until I entered Jacob Babcock's name in- and my computer said he was already there. Out of pure curiosity, I asked my computer to tell me the relationship between Jacob and his wife Elizabeth. Not only was she his wife, but she was also his first cousin. Jacob's and Elizabeth's mothers were sisters. Ok finally figured this out accidentally, I was copying the original file, which started with generation 3, but gen. 1 and 2 was still there in brackets, and remember I didn't want to show 1 and 2 , well when I copied it and looked at the copy it was exactly what I wanted, showed my gen 3 as number and generation 1 and 2 were NO where on this new descendants report, Thanks to everyone. Dee, I just had a thought but it would mean extra work. Make a new temporary family file, just with the people you want to include. You can always delete when you are done with it. The other thing would be to copy the report with the bracketed ancestors, paste it into WordPad or some other word processing program, delete what you don't want and print it. That might be easier. Just don't use the print option on the FTM program.
