Hi Sharon, When we were there, I checked at the Clarksburg library first and they said that they don't have any genealogical records there and sent me over to Waldomore. Be sure and ask someone how to get up to the second floor of Waldomore. It's a side door and I had trouble finding it. Hi Sharon, The Harrison County Genealogical Society is located in Clarksburg which also houses the Harrison/Clarksburg Public Library. Their address is 404 W. Pike St., Clarksburg, W.V. 26301 (304) 627-2236. I called someone at the Library a few days ago and they gave me this address. As far as I know, they would have records for Clarksburg also. Hi Sharon, The location of Waldomore, the old mansion which houses the Harrison Co Genealogical Society, is to the right of 404 West Pike St., the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. Free parking is available behind the main library accessed through Library Lane, less than half a city block west of the buildings. The Manhatten rest was just a rest, not an inn .
