Does anyone have any info on Adam, John and Jacob Weese? They seem to have taken part in Claypole's Rebellion but moved to NC ca 1790+. Adam was on a road list at the Burke/Lincoln Co border in 1796 but was in Buncombe Co by 1800 in that part which became Henderson Co in 1838. Adam died about 1819. John (my ancestor) was on the 1810 Buncombe Co census and died between 1820-1830. Jacob did not stay long in NC but moved to Randolph Co, WV where he died in 1826.
