Religion played a major role in our ancestors. We aren't on this list discussing religion beliefs of ourselves, but what our ancestors may have believed. Religion was a major factor of our ancestors. My roots begin with strong ties to the Presbyterian church. It is recorded that my 4th great-grandfather was one of the elders in the Presbyterian church that is at Three Chruches, Hampshire Co., WV. These people were Scots and Irish.
