Hello, Thanks for the info... I found on rootsweb.com that Elsie M. Combs Strawderman died on 2/9/1995 in Stafford, VA. I do believe that this is the Elsie that I was looking for because according to the death records she was born on 7/4/1911 and I do show her in the Hardy County, WV 1920 Census as being 8 years old. I do not know if she has any children. I also searched for Frances "Lee" Combs Souders but I think that she still may be out there. I am not sure when she was born but I know she was not in the Hardy County, WV 1920 Census. She may have been born in 1920 though. I do show that a Frances Lee Combs married a Whismer Jones/James? in 1937 and th at this Frances Lee Combs was 17. I found out that she married Waldo Souders and their child Evelyn Souders was shortly married to a Boyd Milstead in Harrisonburg, VA around 1968. I guess I will have to look for Evelyn Souders Milstead. Haman, Elsie, & Frances also had a brother Naman Combs. Naman married Coda Mae Ritchie and they had Irene who married a Sandridge. Their mother, Sallie Rose/Rosetta Miller...(she is also found as Sarah) daughter of George & Elizabeth M. Miller, she was born 2/23/1885 in Hardy County, WV. In 1901 she married Samuel Tusing, son of Jacob and Betty Ann Tusing. (Samuel may have died because I can't find him after this). In 1905 she married Robert James Combs, son of Absalom and Mary Corbin Combs. Robert died in 1931. He was much older than Sallie. In 1931 she married Isaac Teets, son of Laban W and Virginia Teets. Sallie Teets died in 1968 and is buried in Woodbine Cemetary, Harrisonburg, VA, Rockingham County.
