In the will Elizabeth names her son, Solomon as executor of her estate and in 1860 census for Hardy County, VA, show SolomonTharp, age 48 with wife and children and mother, age 64, Elizabeth Tharp, living with him. My interest in this will is that she names as her heirs, among others, the children of her son, John Tharp, one Elizabeth Ann Tharp, whom I believe might have been my g.g. grandmother that I have been trying to identify parentage. Anyone out there have anything on Solomon Tharp and his parentage, siblings, etc?
