Rose, My Tharp (Thorpe) is Elizabeth Ann Tharp (g.g. grandmother), b. about 1823 in VA and married Covington Burch in Dec. 1839. The left Hardy County after 1858 (youngest son born there and in census his birthplace listed as VA) and in June 1860 census were in Piatt County, IL. Elizabeth Ann died in December of 1860 and is buried in Piatt County. Husband and children moved on to Jasper County, MO. I am never been able to identify Elizabeth Ann's parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for replying.
