Hi I see that the Hardy Co., cemeteries have been indexed. I would very much like to know if there any James Brooks listed or any Brooks of any name. I have visited the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield and found a headstone for Matilda Brooks wife of James. I also found a stone for Edward Steen, son of John Steen and wonder if there is any information on this family. It is right near Matilda's headstone. I would also like to know if there is any marriage records that may have the above people in them. John Jacob Steen married Martha Welton Brooks, daughter of James and Matilda. John Jacob Steen was married 1st to another lady who died in childbirth. I hope that I have not asked too many questions. Thanks Florence Denning
