WV has put online various birth, marriage and death records for each of the 55 counties. Hardy county is one of the few that have all the records digitized and available online. I do not know who is responsible for the indexing and digitizing the records, but whoever did Hardy county deserves kudos as it is complete. Use the following link to search the records. The search engine supports wild cards for single letters as well as strings. So it is possible to do one search to find all the varying spellings of a name.
