John Do you have a Henry Green born 1800-1810 that married Magdalena Kramer 12 June 1830 Fairfield Co Ohio. I don't know where Henry was born or lived, but Magdalena was born in Pennsylvania. Thanks for checking Sue I have the Green family genealogy of Licking Co., OH by Robert Green. My grandmother was married to Len J. Green, out of the Johnstown area. Green Cemetery is named for the family. Can I do a lookup for you? John Gray, Grove City, OH
Hi Sue - Yes, they are in Robert Green's Book 'The Green Tree' - in a list of marriages for Fairfield Co., OH - married 13 June 1830 by J.P. John Donaldson. I suspect the one day difference in your date and the date in the list is yours is the day they took out the license, and the list is the actual date of marriage. There are several Henry's in the Green Tree genealogy but no marriage to a Magdalena indicated anywhere. - only one that might be yours is Henry, s/o Allen & Nellie (Fitzgerald.) Green Allen believed to be the s/o of Regnal Green, Sr., who is also in my grandfather's direct line. Allen & Nellie had several children including one named Henry, no birth dates given for any of the children. Allen came to Fairfield Co., OH in 1798 with his brother John Green, Jr. and settled west of Lancaster, remaining there for the rest of his life. That makes the date of your Henry's birth, ca 1800-1810 a likely fit to be Allen's son. Sorry I could not help more.
