I am new to your list...I received an obit on my GGF yesterday from the Baltimore Sun...seems he was born in Moorefield, W VA and moved to the capital (Washington, DC) when he was six...His name was Thomas J. Mattingly (and I would guess his middle name was Joseph) born June 2, 1827...would anyone have any information on any Mattinglys from that area?
