Mary (Polly) b. abt 1785 VA m. 28 Jul 1805 d. about Feb 1806 VA mar. Abraham HITE b. 1773 VA d. Aug 1823 OH Child: Alexander HITE b. 1806 VA d. 1885 CA 2. Barnhard b. Mar 1789 VA near Stony Creek, VA m. 23 Aug 1826 MS. to Mary TREENLY. (I did not research this info) 3. Susanna b. abt 1793 PA m. 15 Dec 1812 VA. to John FAUBER. 4. Sarah (Sallie) b. abt 1800 m. 8 Jun 1823 Howards Lick,WV Christian (Christly) HALTERMAN. d. 1880 Rockingham Co.VA buried Halterman Cem. Hwy 259. George FEATHERS b. 1805 and Catherine Susan WHETZEL his wife had 8 children: Phoebe Peter W. Zepp Cornelius Catherine Mary Ann Morgan Margaret George Washington lived in Woodstock, Stephenson, Lost River, Star Tannery, Zepp, his children Star Tannery, Strasburg. I read somewhere that the Forestry Service researched the Original Titles, claims, grants to the land in the George Washington National Forest. And George FEATHERS was listed there. I can not find a copy of that source at this minute. I was in Moorfield and searched there, Shenandoah, Frederick, Berkely, Rockingham, Woodstock, Edinburg. Now hoping to check out the Library in Romney the 26-27 of November, the Court house will be closed, but I hear they have a Genealogy room at the Library.
