I think the Valentine Cooper listed in the 1870 census in Christian's family may be George Washington Cooper. The dates are similar and I only find Valentine Cooper in the 1870 census. I have found three other daughters Anna, Amy and Jane Cooper. Amy and Jane are only listed in the AFRHS cemetery book as daughters of Christian Cooper. Anna's only reference so far is in the Harman Album by Carrie Harman Roy. I'm wondering if one of the daughters is really Emily. But I need to clarify these facts with other family members. Finally, John Adam Cooper (s/o Christian) never married as far as I can tell. John Wymer Cooper, s/o Samuel Cooper (b.10 Oct 1853 d. 26 Dec 1926) md Elmira McDonald (b. Jan 1858, d. 18 Nov 1936).
