I would like to ask a question and hopefully someone can tell me. If a family lived in Romney, Hampshire County, South Branch where would I look for a death record about 1846? I would like to find where he is buried. In his son's civil war pension papers South Branch is where a POLING stated the WHITES and POLINGS lived. This is a James WHITE, who died and left a wife Elizabeth Robinson WHITE and 5 children. A William and Lucinda ROBINSON were listed with Elizabeth and the children on the 1850 census. James and Elizabeth were married 1834 and I need to find their parents. Maybe I am searching for the wrong records for then. Any suggestions as to where or what to look for.
