Stump researchers: In an old file of my father's papers, I came across some papers from the Harrison County Courthouse (sent to my father in 1978), with a family group sheet for George Stump 1 (born 1744), listing his parents as Michael Stump 1 and Catherine (no surname). The sheet shows George as married to Elizabeth Wilson (my father originally listed George's wife as Elizabeth Massey in his book about the Stumps, published in 1975, but corrected it in an errata sheet in 1979 to Wilson) , and lists their children and some of their spouses. There is also a sheet from the Mineral County Library, also sent to my father in 1978, with info from the "Alkire family Bible," which also lists info on George and Elizabeth Wilson Stump, and their (ten) children, and some info at the bottom about a Thomas Wheeler (b. 18?1, m. 1840), and his children, and that maybe his wife was Mahaly Alkire. I'm new to this list, so don't know if this info has already been posted, or if anyone is interested in it. Will post if there's interest. Emma (Stump) Campbell
