I don't know the specific answer for this question, however during the 1880's and 1890's it was extremely popular to have a map and directory of your town made. I have seen many maps and directories for the Shenandoah Valley (plus in my Historical Geography class, we discussed this national fad). My guess is Moorefield had one made during this time period (I'm sure they weren't about to be left out of the fad!). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
