You all have been most helpful to me in my research and I wish to thank everyone and wish their families a most healthy and prosperous New Years! I have noted on the 1820 Hardy Co Census a Joseph Walker (8)..perhaps 8 people in the household...would anyone have any information on this Joseph Walker and his family (there is a Jane Walker (63) who married a Thomas Mattingly (76) both born in VA who are listed in the 1850 DC Census)? Still trying to find a connection to my Thomas J. (Joseph) Mattingly and Moorefield, WVA where he was born. It is a long shot, but in 2000, I'm ready to try anything !!! Best to all, Elizabeth
