On this Joseph's funeral home records= it listed his parents as Samuel Ralston & Catherine MENDLE....(BUT don't know who this Samuels parents could have been yet? his wife was listed as plot owner at the cemetery but no mention of her or Samuel's tombstones???There-help) This Joseph is buried in the Brooke cemetery I think in Wellsburg abt 1913. with a child of James Hall's buried there too, believe was his daughters child. I have thisJoseph's will too. Owens first names were?.. still looking for some of my early Ralston marriages just not sure which county they married in, think in early Brooke Co & Hancock. I Don't know if they would be included in Ohio Co marriages?? but here are the Ralston marriages that I can't locate Marriage records on; my GG grandfather *Alexander Andrew Ralston & Rachel Whitson May 2 1850 from family Bible info. They were listed as Seth & Rachel Ralston in the 1850 census living with her parents Robert & Jane Whitson. My GGG: * Samuel Ralston & Elizabeth Sarah McConnell ? married abt 1800 maybe my GGGG: *Samuel Ralston & Martha Tucker- maybe married in Washington Co PA where her father John Tucker of the Tucker Meth Church lived.. Their son Joseph Ralston married Mary Morehead (this one is in the records of Brooke) 2-19-1812 & I have a copy of it, he married again to Hannah Edie Reymull in 1865. Samuel brother; *Joseph Ralston & Ann McCready @Beers History of Washington Co PA by 1791 *same Joseph Ralston to Sarah Greer of Harlem Springs Carroll Co OH..abt 1812-13 * Samuel & Elizabeth Parks abt 1824 - in Brooke moved to Seneca Co OH by 1834- they also had a son Joseph & Robert killed in the civil war & a son Andrew who went to Michigan, married a Ann Crapo & buried there. The Ralston family lived on Kings Creek since 1783 or before 1775 says one of the Joseph's Jr. land papers. I've been searching all the branches of Joseph & Jane ? Ralston. They had 2 sons Joseph & Samuel & between the 2 sons had at least 28 kids...lots of branches back there from Kings Creek.
