FICKES and Miss Tillie THOMAS at Elliottsville, last night. The couple were married by Rev. HASTINGS, and at the conclusion of the ceremony were greeted with the booming of canon and cheers. The groom, who is a widower of six weeks, addressed the crowd for over an hour, relating to them incidents of his courtship, which lasted, he said only 144 hours. When he finished Mrs. CHAPMAN, an Aunt of the bride, also made a speech, and then the bride and groom followed by the entire crowd led what was called a "Grand March" to the groom's house a couple of squares away. FICKES is a bicycle repairer and calls himself "The Mechanical Genius of the nineteenth century".
