Pierce remarks married McHenry house. ~~~~ OKAY- I have this Ralston family in my files & want to find out more on them Lucy McHenry & Joseph Ralston **(from age 22 in 1865 guess birth year abt 1843) my line is from the Samuel 1801-1881 & Elizabeth Ralston of Kings Creek- & They didn't have a son name Joseph.. not one listed in any census with them & not listed on my Samuel's will in 1881- This Joseph died 1-9-1913- so he was alive 1881. His funeral home records say he was a son of Samuel Ralston & Catherine MENDEL. A lot at the Wellsburg cemetery was listed under Joseph Ralston & Rachel McHENRY name, in the lot 68 Sec B. Joseph Ralston1-9-1913 & Mrs. Jos Ralston 3-23-1918 & child of James E. HALL 4-6-1906 ( will listed a daughter Sally Hall could be her child?) There are afew more Ralstons' buried there, listed below I'm looking for info on too... Mrs Catherine Ralston lot 11 sec D, was the lot owner but no dates listed for her or her husband Samuel Ralston who died by 1896- I have his will..& census info on him Need to find out when she died? IS this Samuel buried there too?? This Samuels will written 6 Nov 1887 & probate Jan 1896, listed wife Catharine the property on which I now reside, situated on the North east corner of Fleet street & Yankee street in the city of Wellsburg WV ... devise the same to my son Wm Hamilton Ralston, . It is my will that my lot adjoining the property of W.C. Barclay is to the lot bordering on the ally running north of W.C Barclays residence in said city shall be sold & the proceeds divided as follows $50. thereof to be paid to my son Jos. BUT His name & dates are not listed?? listed were Keziah Ralston 3-30-1914 & Mary Ellen Ralston 9-4-1927, Keziah shows up on the 1880 census as head of the family with kids, Mary E., Lewis, Christian & John. also lot owner Elmer Ralston lot E 1/2 lot 109 Sec H. Elmer d. 5-5-1943 & Mrs Elmer L. Ralston 1-?-1962 & Geo L. Ralston 4-17-14 another lot SE 1/4 lot 17 Sec A. lot owner Lewis Ralston 6-29-1938 & Mary Etta Ralston 1-24-1934 & Mrs Mary Ralston lot owner of NW 1/4 Lot 105- 1/2 Sec A. Lawrence Ralston 4-10-1948 & Mrs Lawrence Ralston 1-3-1966 in 1880 census Joseph 37 teamster WV WV WV, Lucy 39 (MCHENRY) & Sallie, Samuel & Racheal. Another Joseph lived with a Ruth Caruth- I need to get the data on his listing** another Joseph lived there 47 yrs WV WV MD wks on farm, (bd Three Springs cem) wife Minerva 28 (SMITH), Maola 3 & Harriet Hinds 29 live there. -just found a fellow descentant from this line in Oregon- -but I'm not sure who the father of this Joseph was yet? a Peter Ralston express wagon driver, 28 yrs old (who were his parents?) wife Maggie 20 & Allie 2, Samuel 64 WV WV IR & Catherine 60 , WV GR GR & James 32 marble cutter, Hamilton laborer & George LYLE 8 a boarder. Wonder if there are any readers on the list who live near the Wellsburg cemetery & could check out these tombstones for me...love to get photos of the tombstones to add to the little data I have on them in my growing Ralston files..sorry for the long post just want to share what data I have collected & hope to find out more & find some cousins out there..
