Hi Carol, sorry not to get back with you sooner..it's been wild here, but I had a chance this morning ( a few quiet mins after the kids left for school) & looked in the cemetery book on Hancock Co.WV I didn't find a listing on William & Mary Lyons, nor William & Jane Lee Lyons, Here is what I do find: In the Locust Hill Cem Chester- WV Lyons, Wm M 1864-1933 Julia A. 1864-1918 Floyd H. 1894-1971 Mary M 1895-1975 Ray T. 1896-1962 Lyons, James 1862-1938 Matilda 1863-1905 Lyons, Allen J. July 301892-Mar 26 1974 Pfc USA WW1 Gladys W. 1904- 1982 Isabelle A. 1880- 1943 ~~~~~ In the Flats cemetey only L names Langfitt, Lewis, Logan, In the Three Springs Cem- 11 Lee's buried there- one a Jane Lee w/o William Lee 5-13-1843 Lyons, Francis d. 1839 age 25 - only Lyons listed lots of Swearingens'...if you want a list of them -let me know.. Didn't see a Fannie Ralston Swearingen listed there* In the Union Cemetery Lyons, Inez 1883-1966 John 1886-1963 Helen 1891- ???? In the New Cumberland cemetery, Lyons, Clarence B. 1887-1960 Ella N. 1885-1930 Emma 1858-1919 age 61 James d. Lyons served in the 12 Regiment Company 1, Richard Hooker Brown Major This regiment recruited in couties of Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Marion, Taylor & Harrison, Company 1 was from Hancock Co . Regiment organized at Camp Willey, Wheeling WV... There is a listing in the unit on a Harper McRALSTON...?? I have a Harper Ralston in my bunch.. but never seen spelled McRalston?? so guess I will have to double check all the Mc surnames?<G> whew.. ~~~~ Here is what I have on Fannie Ann Ralston* b. Dec 13, 1868 d. at 21 yrs (so abt 1889?/1890*) d/o Jeremiah Ralston & Jane Brice, She married George Swearingen Dec 3 1888 s/o Margaret Morrow & Benjamin Swearingen. George & Fannie Ann had a daughter Fannie Pearl Swearingen b. May 16, 1890 ? she became a school teacher or a DR. ? like to find out which & more on her...what happened to her.. I also have a Nancy Virginia Ralston b. Dec 7, 1855 d. May 8 1934 at 78 yrs buried Chestnut ridge Cemetery Hanover Washington Co PA who married Samuel LYONS b. Dec 28, 1854 lived near Pleasant Valley Church d. 1936 Bd. Chestnut Ridge Cem. There kids were; 1,Crawford Lyons 1887-1970 had kids Dean, Kenneth, Virginia.. 2, Martha Jane Lyons married Francis Ralston 3, Lulu Maud Lyons d. at birth of 1st child married Vince Kimberland 4, Ola Lyons 1892-1966 5, Frank M.
