He was born in Hancock County WVA c. 1833. It was said that he came from a large family - a good many brothers who all supposedly fought for the South. He joined a Union regiment outside of Steubenville OH, never returning to WVA. Harry and Catherine moved to Rochester PA (Beaver County), where he died in 1901 and Catherine Longnecker Campbell died in 1926. Any leads for either John Harry Campbell or Catherine Longnecker would be greatly appreciated.
