Larnie E. Yergin, 58, 119 Pennsylvania Ave., Chester, died Saturday afternoon about 2:40 at Osteopathic Hospital after a lingering illness. He was born Nov. 21, 1916, at St. Mary's, W.Va., a so of Elmer E. and Margie Collins Yergin. He had been employed at The Newell Co. in the maintenance department with 30 years service. Mr. Yergin had resided in the Chester area since 1942. His wife Catherine Yergin, died in 1960. Survivors include tow sons, William Yergin of Chester and John Yergin of Wellsville, three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Henderson of St. Marys and Mrs. Doris Nash and Mrs.. Mable Petcher of Akron and three grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. Delmer Logston of the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at New Manchester. Friends may call tonight and tomorrow morning at the chapel.
