BREEN family in Hancock County on the 1860 US Census for New Cumberland. They had 3 children by then, JOHN SCOTT, b. 22 Sept 1853 in Pa., who later became a constable of New Cumberland, ANNE E., b. abt 1856 in Va. later WVA, married 12 Feb 1884 to JOHN N LYONS in Hancock Co. WVA., and ROBERT CLARK b. 22 Jan 1857 on Hardins Run Rd then VA. now WVA. JOHN SCOTT BREEN married AMBROZINE MURRAY/MURRY in 1876. Ambrozine's father JOHN G. MURRAY died in Hancock County on 8 Feb 1874 of Lung Disease, SAMUEL MURRAY was the informant on the death certificate. John and Ambrozine had CLYDE BREEN b. 11 May 1877. Clyde married EVA MANOLIA GARDNER from Holidays Cove 1895 and they had CHARLES BREEN b. 20 Sept 1898 who then married WILMA MAY WELLS on 10 March 1916. Wilma Wells is dtr. of HARRY JACOB WELLS & AMANDA VIRGINA (neeHIBBITS/HIBBETS) WELLS. Henry and Martha Breen went on to have several more children JAMES, MARTHA BELLE, who married D.HENRY KERR, and MARGARET JANE, b. 6 Sept 1867, who married Wm JOHNSON STEEN in New Cumberalnd WVA, 26 May 1886. Many of the above are buried in the New Cumberland Cemetery, but Henry and Martha have gotten away from me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Glad to share with others what I have. Doretta
