Alexander "Alex" Morrow- 2nd son of James & Nancy "Agnes" Elliott Morrow..born 27 Jan 1815 in Brooke Co died there then was in Hancock Co on 22 Dec 1871, his wife Sarah Jane WILSON- was born 26 Oct 1813 died 31 Dec 1886. Her mother was Jane Ralston Wilson living in Alexanders home in 1860 age 65, she was the wife of William Wilson they lived in Fairview for a time & New Cumberland. Alex was listed as a blacksmith in 1850 & in 1860 a Hotel keeper. Jane Ralston's parents were Samuel & Martha Tucker Ralston. Alex & Sarah Jane kids; James Elmore b 1837 married Clara J. Johnson William Wilson 1839 married Catherine Kate Anderson, Robert Newell b. 1841 married Alice ? John Calvin 1845 married Ferissa Malcolm Samuel Marquis 1849 Ida Dora 1852 married Adrain Wilmer Brown they also had an infant that died July 1844. There is a book by Anne Morrow Nees & George Lester Morrow on Alexander Morrow 1745-1817 of Brooke Co WV & His Descendants, I only have a few pages from it. It list a bio on James in The History of the Northern Pan Handle, - James -4th child, 3 son of Alexander & Susan Cassidy Morrow, died in 1825 & Inv of his estate dated 19 April 1825 say he left no will, his place of burial not known. He married 1st Ruth Davis d/o Catherine Davis, 2nd marriage to Nancy Elliott on 5 Jan 1813, by Rev Elisha McCurdy. James children listed as Charles Morrow b. c 1814- m Sarah Jane ? Alexander Morrow b. 1815 * above m c. 1835 Sarah Jane Wilson d. 22 Dec 18871 Brooke. James Morrow b. 1816- m 1838 Eleanor Allison d. 1889 Cass Co MO Aaron Morrow; b1818- Susannah Morrow b. 1820-21 m 1 Robert Glen, 2 john Anderson d. 1899 Hammondsville OH Isabel b. 1822- m 1843 Joseph Harper d. bef 1856 Margaret Morrow no info possible male child b. 1825/6 from 1830 census.
