Hi Jan, Thanks so much for posting the obit of Honor A. Ralston. Her father William Ralston was my GG grfather Alexander's brother. Wish the obit had listed her 4 nephews.... I'm also looking for an obit of my GG grfathers Alexander Ralston if anyone on the list is going over newspapers from 1922, he died Jan 12 & I would like to get a copy of his obit, he died at 94/95 yrs old.. so these Ralstons had long lifelines.. Their father Samuel Ralston 1801-1881 & wife Elizabeth d. 1875 at 70 are buried at the Three Springs Cemetery, they lived on Kings Creek. Another sister of these boys was Barbara Ralston b. between 1817? -1834? In 1881 she was listed as widow of William Gow & on her obit she was listed as Mrs. Gardner of Steubenville. Her 1904 obit spelled the Ralston name at least 3 different ways in the same paragraph. She was 87 yrs old. I'm trying to figure out Who this Mr.__ Gardner was? he died 4 yrs before she did says the obit on her. I'd like to narrow down her birth year & find out if she had any kids? Another sister Martha Jane b. 1825-1910 married Robert Osborne in 1850, had Annie E. in 1863 & J.H. John in 1852 who married Maggie E. & had Robert A., Thomas R. & Teresa- like to see if they are still alive? other sisters were- Martha Ralston b. 1830-1912 who married a Samuel Smith. & sister Eliza b. 1837 never married, brothers, Samuel b. 1832 -who married Margaret Smith & they had a daughter Virginia. George W. 1839- d. 1897 & wife? poss Mary ? had Floraence V. 1877 & Frances M. b. 1842-1929-& Dale Patterson's family lines are from him..... Love all the help you all have given me on my many Ralstons from Brooke & Hancock. THANKS & wish you all a wonderful Mothers day this month.
