He was born between 1837 - 1844 near Hollidays Cove, Hancock County, WV. Here is the info I know: Parents : John Knox and Mary J. Smith. John was born in 1815 in Washington County, PA. He moved to Hollidays Cove in 1837 and married Mary in Sept 1839. She died in 1844 and John remarried Elizabeth Purdy in 1845. Alonzo's wife is Margaret Ann Kleine who was born about 1849 in Wellsburg, Brooks, WV. Her parents are John Adam Kleine and Eliza Perrine. Any information on this family would be wonderful!!
