On 12 Sep 1788 Edmund Randolph, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, granted Maunus Alkire 304 acres in Hampshire Co. on the east side of the South Fork of the South Branch. It adjoined land of Jacob Reed and Col. Mercer. I'm trying to determine the location of this 304 acres. Can anyone tell me where Jacob Reed's and Col. Mercer's land was located?
