His mother-in-law,Mary Bordt [Bird] Sodowski [Sandusky Palmer wrote her will 1752 on Patterson Creek,Fredrick Co,Va naming dau, Sophia Johnson,but by 1758 when Mary Palmer's estate was probated, Sophia was married to Wm Darling. Sophia's brother,Andrew Sodowski,retreated from Patterson's Creek,to Love's [Brock's?] Gap ,North Mt. The Wm Darlings settled across from Moorefield,S Branch,Potomac, by 1776. These people were lastly from the BOONE-LINCOLN-Swede's neighborhood of Amity,or Douglassville,se Berks Co,Pa,though Mary Bordt [Bird] m Antoni Sodowski,Polish Indian trader,on w Long Island,and they lived awhile at FREEHOLD,NJ 1700 ERA.
