    3. Dear Wilmer, Thanks very much for this most interesting information! Count me as first in line for your next publication on this family. I am intrigued to see that Harriett Shanholtzer's mother was also a Hawkins--many of the local families seem to have been so extensively interrelated that I rather despair of working out all the connections; but it is fun trying.
