Hi Thelma, My name is Mary Roddy. I believe you have mentioned my husband's great grandmother in your post. My husband's great grandmother, Hannah Allender, married Harry (?) Aldrich, They had 3 children, Mildred, Nellie Kathleen (Mark's grandmother) and Harry. Harry Aldrich, Sr. died in 1909 and Hannah Allender Aldrich then Married George White (I thought it was George J, but I may be mistaken). Hannah and George had Ethel, George Robert "Sonny" and Donald Eugene "Donny". I don't know much more, however, I do recall having found Hannah's mother and her husband, Maggie Spurling and John William Allender on the 1880 census in Romney, Hampshire, WV, and I remember seeing a George White on the same census page and I was curious if it could have been the George White she eventually married. I don't know a lot of information about this family. Mark's Grandmother Nellie is almost 94 years old and either doesn't remember, or doesn't want talk about much of this but if you believe we have a connection I would love to compare notes with you.
