1. Was Morgantown, Moorefield or Keyser once in Hampshire County? 2. I am looking for the birth records of Bertha Grace BRANT born January 16, 1897 in Morgantown, WV daughter of Albert Brant and Mary Elizabeth(Garrett) Brant. I have written to Charleston, WV and to the Monongalia County Court in Morgantown to no avail. 3. Also the birth record of Sarah Carrie FOSTER sometimes refered to as Sallie. Born in Moorefield Township in 1870. Mother's name was Julia A. FOSTER and father Frank( but we have not been able to find him on any of the census reports In 1870 Julia and children were in Hardy County. But the father was not listed on that census. Sallie Carrie was 3 months old at that time. 4. We are wondering if Frank FOSTER had died and that is why he was not on the census. Is there someplace I can write to get obituaries if I don't have an exact date?? 5. Need to find out Julia's maiden name. Any suggestions? I am not asking anyone to do my research for me just to help me in finding where I need to go to get the information I need. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Marian L.
