    2. Sandie, This isn't my line but I have a ggg grandfather Frederick STEINBECK/STINEBECK who lived Romney in very early 1800s .. he also had an ordinary inn and tavern. Died 1823. His wife was Sarah Eckert d/o Henry Eckert and they had 4 ch. Son Henry helped with the formation of W.V. in Lewis Co in 1860s. Have you seen the records of your Peter and Wm. in the Hampshire &Hardy Co (W)VA Abstracts (Hampshire co wills 1780-1794)(deeds 1757-1786) Hardy Co Wills 1786-1824 and Deeds 1786-1800) compiled by Larry G.
