I believe he married Margaret Ingmore on the 19 June 1829 in Hampshire county. In 1838 he married Elizabeth Hardesty in Coshocton county, OH. They moved with her family to Ogle county, IL and then on to Iowa. The problem is that Charles had a falling out with his family over the issue of slavery. According to my great grandmothers memiors, he was a Methodist minister and an abolitionist. Unfortunately, he disowned his family and never passed any information about his parents or siblings.
