I walked through the Cemetary in Romney on Tuesday. I found a small CORE marker with the following, "Moses H. CORE, Anna E., his wife. Polly CALWELL. Mary J. CORE." Does anyone have any information on these people? Does anyone have access to Hampshire Death Records? Could you look them up? Also, I was looking for an index to the cemetary and the Court House folks said the Fraser Funeral Home may be the best place to get info. I went to the funeral home but did not find a living soul there. Anyone have access to the funeral home or their records? Dan Harris
Dan, do you realize how funny it sounds to say you went to a funeral home and didn't find a living soul there?
Dan, I never heard of the Fraser Funeral Home. Where is it? Maybe that is why there wasn't a "living soul" there. ----------------------------------------------------- Bill Pyles, Titusville, FL --New e-mail address: WPyles@cfl.rr.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "DanlHarris" <DanlHarris@mgfairfax.rr.com> To: <WVHAMPSH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 10, 2000 8:09 PM Subject: [WVHAMPSH-L] CORE in Indian Mound Cemetary > I walked through the Cemetary in Romney on Tuesday.
