Charles Hays married Margaret Ingmire. I am not sure of her parentage but I am descended from Christianna Ingmire, born 1819 probably in Hampshire County, who undoubtedly was her cousin or niece. Christianna married Geo. Washington Thompson in Zanesville, OHio in 1838 (working from memory here on the dates.. at this late hour...the IGI list's the marriage) and her new husband was the son of Benjamin Thompson and Charlotte Tripolet Thompson of Loudoun Co., Virginia (later Clarke County). Apparently there was a large exodus from Loudoun to Coshocton Co., Ohio and the surrounding areas in the 1820-1830 era. Christianna and Washington Thompson migrated to Bartholomew Co., Indiana circa 1845 and settled there. If they were traveling together maybe you could check out that Indiana county for clues.
