Adina, This William Hiett apparently was the third son of John Hiett, Sr. (who remained in Pa.). The three sons, John Jr., George, & Wm. migrated to old Frederick Co. Personally, I concern myself mostly with the line of John Jr. since he is the only one who settled in what is now Hampshire Co. and is the progenitor of the Hampshire Co. Hiett's, including mine.
