I think someone asked about this the other day. I just saw this on the Hardy Co. Webpage. There is a listing for this cemetery as stated below. I copied the paragraph from the website. "The addess for Old Pine Church Cemetery is Purgitsville, which is in Hampshire County but it is almost on the line between Hardy and Hampshire Counties. It is the oldest church in the area and graves date back to 1792. This reading of the Old Pine Church Cemetery was made in July 2000 by Barbara Weese and Diana Hambleton, information in "( )" has been added by Barbara Weese" Karen in FL

Karen, Thank you for thinking of me and other researchers who are looking for a detailed listing of the "residents" of Old Pine Church Cemetery. The ladies who visited and listed the cemetery did not do a full inventory. My mother in law, who was buried there in 1971, is not listed. Neither is her brother, although her parents are, but her grandparents are not. These are just a few of the very many graves that are there. And so my quest continues to find someone who knows or can help me find a complete listing. Thanks again, Charlene
