Mary Combs, born about 1810, prob. in Hampshire County, married Gibson Ruckman, about 1830 in Hampshire County. They had six children living when she died about 1849. Gibson Ruckman appears in the 1850 Federal census, Hampshire Co., VA, pg. 150B. Anna Combs, age 64, appears in the household, with this family. She is possibly the widow of James Combs, and the mother-in-law of Gibson Ruckman. I will exchange documented information on these families.
