Try Augusta, Frederick or Orange Co records too! I found Michael Oxer listed in 1757in Augusta Co Records when he attended a vendue (estate sale) for Christian Doscher at Michael Stumps place on the South Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac (south of Mooresfield today.) Check Chalkley abstracts on line for Augusta Co records.
