In Vicki Horton's book Hampsire County Records there is the following entry from the Common Law Order Book #2. 27 May 1824 Cornelius Devore Senr and Michael Baker, Admr's of Richard Baker, deceased against Joseph Logston and Sally his wife, late Sally Baker. I ordered a copy of the actual record and it provided no additional details. How would I find out what this lawsuit was about and who won. Background: Richard Baker died ca 1819 in Londonderry Twp., Bedford Co., Pa. At the time of this death he owned land in Hampshire County. Michael Baker (Richard's brother) was a resident of Hampshire County and one of the Administrators of Richard's estate. Richard Baker's widow, Sally, married Joseph Logston and they later moved to Hampshire County. Since Richard Baker owned land in Hampshire County, would there be any probate records in Hampshire County? Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joyce
